When is the 17th Annual Brainwash Movie Festival?
It will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, Friday, September 9th, and Saturday, September 10th, 2011. The September 3rd show will start at 8 pm. On September 9 & 10, food trucks will open on site at 7 pm and the show will begin at 9 pm.

The 2011 festival will be held at the Mandela Village Arts Center at 1357 5th St. in Oakland, adjacent to the West Oakland BART station and Interstate 880.

What can I do to prepare myself for the festival?
Get in the mood by listening to the official theme song of Brainwash: Traffic Man, by Hot Tub Man. (While you listen, meditate on the possibility of purchasing advance tickets for you and your friends, as soon as they become available.) Also consider bringing a chair and maybe a blanket if you’d like to sit outside. We’ll have a few chairs, but don’t you like yours better?
